Child Development Center fundraiser exceeds goal

WCTC’s Child Development Center Family Festival fundraiser surpassed its $15,000 fundraising goal by nearly $1,000! More than 175 guests attended the festival, which included a variety of children’s entertainment, inflatables, games and an auction, which featured a large selection of gift baskets and other items donated from members of the WCTC and surrounding community. Money raised will be used to replace equipment, purchase classroom materials and supplement the operating budget.

The Child Development Center provides the young children of WCTC students, employees and the community a warm, safe environment where they can learn, grow and thrive. As a model laboratory school for children ages 6 weeks through 8 years, the CDC strives to ensure the care and education each child receives aligns with early childhood best practices.

The center features infant, toddler and preschool classrooms, a Leap Start classroom, a 4-year-old kindergarten partnership with the Pewaukee School District and a Kids on Campus summer camp program.
