PEWAUKEE, Wis. (Wednesday, March 1, 2023) -- On  March 1,  at approximately 11:05 a.m., emergency services were contacted for response to a possible natural gas leak in the Service (S) Building on Waukesha County Technical College's main Pewaukee campus.

Emergency services responded and observed a generator in operation by a contractor outside of the S building near the air intake handler. The generator was turned off and the air intake was set to 100% exhaust and 100% intake of fresh air. The Pewaukee Fire Department investigated the air quality and determined it is safe to continue normal operations.

One person was transported to a medical facility for additional medical care. The S Building is open for normal operations.
