MEDIA ALERT: Tickets still available for Aly Raisman event at WCTC on Dec. 7

PEWAUKEE, Wis. (Thursday, Dec. 2, 2021) – Tickets are still available for the Waukesha County Technical College Speaker Series event -- featuring world-class gymnast Aly Raisman – on Tuesday, Dec. 7.

At the live, in-person event, gymnast and gold medalist Raisman will participate in a moderated, question-and-answer session in the Anthony J. Natalizio (AJN) Center in Building S, on the College’s main campus at 800 Main Street, Pewaukee.

• Doors open at 11 a.m.; a light lunch will be served.

• Q & A session will be held from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.

• A book signing will take place from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. (Her book, “Fierce,” will be available for purchase. Books cost $12 and supplies are limited; cash only.)

Raisman served as the team captain of the gold medal-winning U.S. Women’s Gymnastics teams in 2012 and 2016. At the 2012 Games, she was the first American gymnast to win gold in the floor exercise, and at the 2016 Games, she helped guide the team to gold and earned a silver medal in the All-Around competition.

Cost for the event, which includes a light lunch, is $45 for community members, and registration is required.
