MEDIA ALERT: Waukesha County Technical College fall open house this Thursday!

PEWAUKEE, Wis. (Monday, Nov. 15, 2021) – Waukesha County Technical College is excited to welcome guests to campus later this week for its in-person fall open house.

The event is set for Thursday, Nov. 18, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. It is designed to share information about the College and its 150-plus areas of study, including associate degrees, technical diplomas and apprenticeship programs.

Additionally, WCTC staff from the Center for Early College Opportunities will be on hand to provide details about new and expanding dual enrollment options for high school students, which allow juniors and seniors to earn WCTC College credit while still in high school.

Guests can stop by at any time during the three-hour event, which features:

  • Student- and staff-led tours of state-of-the-art facilities and labs.
  • Examples of industry-specific projects.
  • Visits with faculty and staff from numerous program areas.
  • A voucher to waive the $30 application fee.
  • Refreshments and door prizes.

Representatives from Admissions, Registration, Financial Aid, Advising and other areas will also be at the event to answer participants’ questions, and a shuttle service will be available to conveniently transport guests to and from different locations on campus.

The open house will be held at WCTC’s main campus, 800 Main Street, Pewaukee; the check-in area will be in the Anthony J. Natalizio Center in Building S.
