MEDIA ALERT: WCTC to host Earth Day Campus and Community Cleanup Event this Saturday – April 22!

PEWAUKEE, Wis. (Tuesday, April 18, 2023) – This Saturday, April 22, Waukesha County Technical College will host the Earth Day Campus and Community Cleanup Event from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with optional WCTC campus tour to follow. 

This event is designed to engage members of the greater Waukesha County community and celebrate the College’s 100th anniversary. Please note: This event will be held rain or shine.

  •  Join WCTC students, faculty and staff to help beautify green spaces and clean up Waukesha County/Pewaukee parks, including Retzer Nature Center, Kiwanis Village Park, Lakefront Park, Peffer Park and others,
  • Volunteer groups of all sized are encouraged to attend – individuals, families, friends, school/community groups, scout troops and more!
  •  Participants will meet on the main (Pewaukee) campus and receive an event t-shirt, light breakfast and lunch, along with all supplies needed to help with the clean-up effort.
