Small Business Center gets ready for fall classes, workshops

PEWAUKEE, Wis. (Tuesday, August 2, 2022) – Waukesha County Technical College’s Small Business Center (SBC) is offering a variety of noncredit workshops and courses this fall designed for small business owners and entrepreneurs to help them achieve success in new and existing ventures.

Fall classes, which start later this month, will cover topics such as start-up basics, business planning, accounting/taxes, marketing/sales and more. 

A sampling of the classes include:

  • FaStart Workshop
  • Business Plan Development
  • QuickBooks Online
  • Organize Business Finances
  • Understanding Business Taxes
  • Business Tax Deductions
  • Small Business Insurance
  • Law for Small Business Owners
  • Marketing Mastermind

Additionally, the SBC continues to offer the Small Business Certificate program. Participants attend eight specific courses to obtain the certificate, earn a $335 scholarship, gain free chamber membership and access to the Micro Seed Fund.
