Small Business Center to offer a variety of fall and spring classes for entrepreneurs, business owners

PEWAUKEE, Wis. (Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2019) – Waukesha County Technical College’s Small Business Center is offering a variety of non-credit workshops and courses this fall and spring designed for small business owners and entrepreneurs to help them achieve success in new and existing ventures.

Classes will cover a variety of topics:

  • Start-up Basics -- FaSTart Workshop and How to Start a Food Business

  • Business Planning – Business Plan Development

  • Accounting/Taxes – QuickBooks Pro I and II, Organize Business Finances, Understanding Business Taxes, Business Tax Deductions

  • Legal/Insurance – Small Business Insurance, Law for Business Owners

  • Marketing/Sales – Digital Marketing Toolbox, Social Media for Business, Email Marketing, Marketing Mastermind, Small Business Web Design

WCTC’s Small Business Center also offers resources for small business owners, such as free one-on-one counseling, technical assistance, the Take a Professional to Lunch program; networking events and clubs; and a for-credit Entrepreneurship certificate.
