PEWAUKEE, Wis. (Tuesday, April 7, 2020) – Waukesha County Technical College is providing technology on a rental/rent-to-own basis for students who do not have access to devices at their homes but need them for remote learning during campus closures due to COVID-19.

WCTC has secured 300 iPads with keyboards and cases along with 100 laptop computers. Students needing this technology will be required to complete an online technology request form -- https://wctc.libwizard.com/f/covidtechrequest -- to be considered.

Once approved, students can pick up their devices at the WCTC Pewaukee campus, Richard T. Anderson Education Center entrance, on a drive-through basis. Limited WCTC staff will be on hand to distribute the technology. Device pick-ups will be:

  • Tuesday, April 7 – Noon to 3 p.m.
  • Thursday, April 9 -- Noon to 3 p.m.
  • Friday, April 10 – 9 a.m. to noon

Additionally, the College has opened parking lots 2-6, located closest to Building A and Building B, and will be providing expanded Wi-Fi access in those lots.
