explore-and-engage

PEWAUKEE, Wis. (Monday, June 6, 2022) – Waukesha County Technical College will host the Explore & Engage event on Monday, June 13, through Friday, June 17, at the main Pewaukee campus. Hours will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The event provides an individual, customized experience with members of the College’s Outreach team and will give participants an introduction to the College and its many offerings. Guests may choose to meet in person, over the phone or virtually via Zoom. Those who attend an Explore & Engage session will receive a promotional code to apply to the College at no charge.

“WCTC’s Explore & Engage event is designed for prospective students to get one-on-on concrete advice and counseling, take a campus tour and leave with the knowledge they need to engage in their future,” said John McGreal, dean of Enrollment Services. “Students will receive personalized attention and the ability to apply to WCTC right on site.”

 Sessions will allow participants to:

  • Explore WCTC associate degrees, technical diplomas, apprenticeships and certificates.
  • Learn about support resources and ways to connect with admissions, financial aid and career specialists.
  • Complete their application and get started at WCTC.
  • Tour the campus in person or virtually – and more!

On-campus group tours are scheduled for 9 a.m., noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. and begin at the WCTC Welcome Center, located within the College Center. They feature campus classrooms, labs and study spaces and other facilities.
