WCTC statement on video appearing on social media
The following statement was issued on Friday, July 17, by Waukesha County Technical College (WCTC), regarding a video that is spreading across social media.
Waukesha County Technical College (WCTC) was recently made aware of a video that is circulating on social media of a woman who is verbally attacking and yelling racial obscenities to a group of young adults in a park, as well as threatening their safety.
This woman was falsely identified as working at WCTC; she is NOT an employee of the College.
As an institution of higher learning, WCTC is committed to diversity, equity and inclusion, and the fair and respectful treatment of all individuals. The College does not tolerate or condone this type of behavior.
