WCTC to host Celebrity Chef Dinner with award-winning chef Justin Aprahamian ‘02

PEWAUKEE, Wis. (Friday, Sept. 22, 2023) – As part of the College’s 100th anniversary celebration, Waukesha County Technical College is hosting a Celebrity Chef Dinner and Fundraiser on Monday, Oct. 2. The dinner will be held in the Classic Room, located on the main Pewaukee campus in Building A, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The event features James Beard Award recipient Justin Aprahamian, a 2002 graduate of WCTC’s Culinary Management program and owner and chef of the elegant Sanford Restaurant. Also joining Aprahamian are current students and graduates of WCTC’s Culinary Management and Hospitality programs.

The unforgettable, four-course dinner, complete with wine pairings, will include:

  • Beef Basturma with Almonds, Garlic Scapes, Raisins, Amaranth Pesto
  • Roasted Parsnip Soup with Truffle Thyme Brown Butter
  • Wild Striped Bass with Miso Noodles, Bok Choy, Plums, Toasted Sesame Vinaigrette
  • Lemon Saffron Cake with Labneh, Poached Pear and Fig

Seating for this fundraising event is limited; guests are welcome to attend individually, in pairs or in larger groups, and tables are set for up to six people per table. Tickets for this memorable event are $100 per person, and proceeds are being used to support students and the College as it moves into its next century of impact. Please note: Space is limited.
