WCTC to host trucking employer meet and greet

PEWAUKEE, Wis. (Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2017) – Today, there are more than 30,000 job openings in the trucking industry, according to Trucking Moves America. More than 80 percent of U.S. communities depend solely on trucking for delivery of their goods and commodities.

Waukesha County Technical College will host a trucking employer meet and greet for current and prospective Truck Driving program students as well as alumni on Tuesday, Oct. 10 from 3 to 6 p.m. in the Service Building Gymasium, Pewaukee campus.

Attendees can explore trucking employment, benefits within the industry, network directly with employers and sign up for classes at the event. WCTC offers a 12-credit Truck Driving (CDL Class A) Technical Diploma in 10-week and 16-week formats.

Registration is not required for this event.
