PEWAUKEE, Wis. (Friday, Oct. 13, 2023) –Waukesha County Technical College has celebrated its 100th anniversary milestone throughout 2023, and to cap off a year of special events and activities, the College will host the 100th Anniversary Gala Celebration next month.

On Thursday, Nov. 9, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., in the Antonio J Natalizio Center on the main campus, the College will wrap up its celebratory year with a formal gala designed to highlight past accomplishments and focus on the next generation of impact.

The event will feature an elegant, catered dinner – along with decadent desserts prepared by WCTC’s very own Baking and Pastry Management students and faculty -- live music performed by a local trio, presentations by current WCTC students and taped messages from WCTC alumni, whose WCTC education has helped them advance in their careers. WCTC President Rich Barnhouse, Ph.D., will also address the evening’s guests, and special awards will be presented.

“WCTC is finishing out its centennial year in grand fashion, as we reflect upon an incredible 100 years and look ahead toward an even more exciting future,” Barnhouse said. “With so many new programs and initiatives underway, and many more in development, our College is well equipped to meet the evolving needs of students and the workforce, thanks to outstanding faculty, strong community and business partnerships, and support from taxpayers. Our primary aim has always been, and continues to be, the success of our students.”

Tickets for the formal gala are $150 per person, and seating is limited. Come and toast to WCTC’s next 100 years, and see what’s next!
